Welcome back to New Music Friday, where we curate a playlist of new releases that happened during the week. J. Cole drops his seventh studioThe Fall-Off. Fourth generation K-pop aces ATEEZ unveil EP GOLDEN HOUR: Part 4. Few days after showstopping Grammy performance, Sombr releases a new track. Sasha Keable’s ACT II, a deluxe version of her Act Right EP is out now. Here’s a list of singles/albums that released this week.

J. Cole The Fall-Off

One of the greatest and most popular rappers, J. Cole, is finally releasing his long-awaited album, The Fall-Off. This is Cole’s seventh album and his first since The Off-Season in 2021. The Grammy award-winning rapper has been teasing The Fall-Off for many years, starting with the final song on Cole’s album KOD is titled “1985 (Intro to ‘The Fall Off’)” as well as in 2023 when Cole continued teasing the album on “First Person Shooter” with Drake: “I’m naming the album The Fall Off, it’s pretty ironic cause it ain’t no fall off for me.” The album features guest vocals from Future, Tems, Erykah Badu, and Burna Boy.

“For the past 10 years, this album has been hand crafted with one intention: a personal challenge to myself to create my best work. To do on my last what I was unable to do on my first. I had no way of knowing how much time, focus, and energy it would eventually take to achieve this, not despite the countless challenges along the way, I knew in my heart I would one day get to the finish line. I owed it first and foremost to myself. And secondly, I owed it to hip hop,” Cole said in his latest teaser video for the album.

ZAYN “Die for Me”

ZAYN officially announced his fifth studio album titled Konnakol, scheduled for release on April 17, 2026. The lead single ‘Die For Me” serves as the project’s introduction, blending contemporary R&B with intricate rhythmic vocal patterns.

Mitski “I’ll Change for You”

Mitski announces a tour in support of her upcoming album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me releasing February 27. “I’ll Change for You” finds Mitski begging for an ex to take her back.

somber “Homewrecker”

Fresh off his Grammy performance, sombr dropped his new single “Homewrecker” Thursday (Feb 5). The music video features cameos from influencer Quen Blackwell and actor Milo Manheim.

ZICO, Crush ‘Yin and Yang (FANXY CHILD Ver.)(Feat. DEAN, PENOMECO)’

Four artists from “FANXY CHILD” worked together for the first time in a long time. Their version of “Yin and Yang” was created as a richer song by going one step further from the existing song as their unique vocals and rap were combined.

Ecco Vandal “BLEACH”

Ecco Vandal released her booming single “BLEACH” accompanied by a self-directed music video. The track is part of her forthcoming as-yet-unannounced album, which follows her self-titled debut album in 2017.

Ella Mai Do You Still Love Me?

Ella Mai’s third studio album Do You Still Love Me? explores love’s journey with emotional honesty. Executive produced by longtime collaborator Mustard, Do You Still Love Me? features 14 tracks, including the previously released “Little Things” and “Tell Her,” which interpolates Destiny’s Child “Say My Name.”

Mandy, Indiana feat. billy woods “Sicko!”

Today (Feb 6), the experimental Manchester band Mandy, Indiana releases their intense, adventurous sophomore album URGH. “Sicko!” is a malfunctioning industrial techno track, and New York rapper billy woods’ presence adds to its general freaked-out intensity.

ATEEZ “Adrenaline”

K-pop hitmakers ATEEZ drops their 13th EP Golden Hour: Part. 4 today (Feb 6). It is the fourth installment in the band’s “Golden Hour” album series, which captures its most radiant moments of youth, according to the group’s agency, KQ Entertainment.

The new EP features five tracks, including the main track “Adrenaline” for which members Hongjoong and Mingi participated in penning lyrics, “Ghost,” “NASA,” “On The Road” and the pre-released “Choose.”

The Black Keys “You Got to Lose”

Their upcoming album Peaches! scheduled to be released May 1st. Peaches! lead single is a rendition of George Thorogood & The Destroyers’ 1977 song “You Got to Lose” (which itself was an Earl Hooker cover). This song, like all ten tracks on Peaches!, were recorded live with no separation.

Jaymin Sweet Nothings

Rising R&B star Jaymin dropped his first full project Sweet Nothings, following the viral run of his breakout single “Something Real.” Jaymin is the one to watch in 2026.

Freya Skye stardust

February 4th rising star Freya Skye has unveiled her highly anticipated debut EP, stardust, which includes her breakout hit ‘silent treatment’. stardust showcases Freya Skye’s compelling storytelling. February 6 Skye kicks off her sold-out headline Stars Align tour in Portland.

Aaron May “Ridin”

Houston rapper Aaron May released his self-produced single “Ridin” February 1st.

RAAHiiM PRAY FOR ME

Toronto R&B singer RAAHiiM drops his fifth studio album PRAY FOR ME

ZEROBASEONE RE-FLOW

February 2nd ZEROBASEONE released a special limited album RE-FLOW. The album which is their last, condenses the group’s 2 years and 6 months of narrative, captivating fans with new songs that embody the team’s identity. “LOVEPOCALYPSE” is a track that embodies their identity, representing emotions of the members who have supported each other during their time as a unit.

Baton Rouge rapper Fredo Gang is giving something to vibe to for Valentine’s Day.

Scouse rapper EsDeeKid dropped a new single “Omens” February 5 as he embarks on his first U.S. tour.

MISAMO (TWICE) PLAY

TWICE unit group MISAMO, formed by Japanese members Mina, Sana, and Momo, officially released their first full-length Japanese album PLAY February 4, 2026. The album expresses a vintage and sophisticated atmosphere. PLAY concludes a three-part series that begin with their July 2023 debut Masterpiece and continued with their Nov 2024 mini second album HAUTE COUTURE. Title track “Confetti” was released January 16th.

Sasha Keable ACT II

Sasha Keable’s acclaimed ‘act right’ EP was released last summer. Today (Feb. 6), she follows it with the deluxe edition, ‘ACT II’, adding five new tracks, including the recent single ‘tell me what you want’.

Joji Piss in the Wind

Rebounding after a three-year hiatus, the genre-bending musician Joji has returned to music for the first time under the liberty of his own record label, Palace Creek. Piss in the Wind has a total of 21 songs including the tracks from EPs “LOVE YOU LESS” and “Last of a Dying Breed,” as well as several features from 4batz, Giveon, and Yeat.

TKandz & Lil Baby “Now or Never II”

After catching attention with “NOW OR NEVER,” London rapper TKandz runs it back with “NOW OR NEVER II” with Lil Baby spitting his piece.
